Crane Hill sits almost exactly between Alabama’s two biggest metros — fly into either Birmingham or Huntsville and you are on the dock in under an hour and a half. Driving from town, it is an easy day-one arrival: groceries in Cullman, then down the county roads to the water.
Once you are at the lake you will want a car for supply runs, but days revolve around the dock — Sunset Cove’s slip, kayaks, and swim platform are steps from the house.
