When should you go?
Summer (June–August) is dry, warm, and peak season — tasting rooms are lively and weekends sell out months ahead. Harvest and crush run September–October: vineyard sunsets, fermenting-grape smell in the air, and the busiest weekends of the year.
November through April is locals’ season — gray and drizzly, but tasting rooms stay open, reservations come easy, and nightly rates are at their lowest. Two dates worth planning around: the UFO Festival each May and the International Pinot Noir Celebration the last full weekend of July.
