When should you go?
Late spring through fall is the sweet spot: creeks running, pastures green, firepit evenings that stretch late. The last full weekend of July is the Irish Picnic — the town’s signature event and its busiest days of the year.
Fall brings color to the hollows and cool nights made for the firepit; winter is the quietest, darkest-sky season, with Nashville still only an hour away when you want lights and noise.
